Power restored after 3,400 Rotherham homes cut off for three hours
The network provider said 3,424 properties in the S13, S25, S60 and S66 areas had been affected by the outage
NORTHERN Powergrid says the electricity should now be back on at more than 3,000 Rotherham homes left without power earlier.
A spokesman said it was down to “an unexpected problem with cables or equipment”.
But at 3.30pm, Northern Powergrid said all the homes affected had seen their power restored.
