Schools cricket day at Clifton Lane

SCHOOLS cricket takes centre-stage at Rotherham Town CC tomorrow.

Ten primary and junior schools from across South Yorkshire, including Flanderwell and Kimberworth, compete for the Drax Cup South area trophy at Clifton Lane.

The finals are being played as part of the South Yorkshire Schools Games, with matches scheduled from 10am-3pm.

The other finalists are: High View (Barnsley), Shawlands (Barnsley), Reignhead (Sheffield), Greenhill (Sheffield), Norton Junior (Doncaster), Kirk Sandall Junior (Doncaster), Hucklow (Sheffield), Netheredge (Sheffield).

The winner goes to the 2015 Drax Cup Finals at Headingley on Friday, July 10, prior to the NatWest T20 Blast between Yorkshire Vikings and Durham Jets.
