Fitness update on Shane Ferguson who has yet to play for Rotherham United this season
The experienced winger, who hasn't played this season after undergoing two hernia operations, has returned to outdoor training at the Millers' Roundwood HQ.
He is working under the supervision of club physios away from the majority of his teammates and is making good progress following nine months of injury worries.

“There isn't an exact time frame. The fact that he's out on the grass is encouraging because the next step is group training.”
Ferguson has suffered groin/stomach problems since January but managed to play a part in last term's Championship safety push before putting himself in the hands of surgeons.
“I won't be expecting him to play 90 minutes for a long time,” said Taylor.

Centre-half Sean Morrison has a calf complaint, midfielder Hakeem Odoffin is nursing a tight hamstring and midfield man Jamie Lindsday is finally putting a pre-season achilles issue behind him.
“Sean on the grass, Haks is on the grass, Jamie isn't far away,” Taylor said. “After the break we're going to have a few more bodies to choose from.”
