Work to start soon on new shops

Caddick Developments Ltd have agreed a deal with Rotherham Council which could seen work start in the next three months.

It is hoped that a parade of new shops such as Tesco, Heron Foods, Staniforth’s Bakers and Vantage Chemist could be operating by Christmas.

New homes will be built alongside after the shopping centre is completed.

The current post office, Vantage Chemist, Staniforth’s Bakers and butchers Eric Ellis will continue to operate from the existing shopping centre until the new shops are complete.

Once the businesses have moved out, the current Bellows Road centre will be demolished.
