Two arrests over Wombwell murder

TWO people have been arrested by police investigating the murder of John Gogarty in Wombwell.

They were arrested this morning at around 10am on Mont Walk in the Wombwell area.

The two people are a 43-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman.

A 48-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of Mr Gogarty’s murder on Tuesday (21 July), remains on police bail.

Mr Gogarty’s body was found at a house on Marsh Street, Wombwell, on Friday.
