Titans left to lick their wounds

TITANS crashed 37-10 at Bedford in their worst display of the season - but they are already planning to bounce back against Championship table-toppers Worcester this weekend.

They shipped six tries at Goldington Road, making it six straight away defeats since the opening day victory at Bristol, which coach Andre Bester having missed the game with wife Susan about to give birth to their first child.

Bedford ran in two tries inside seven minutes but snuffed out home side for a long spell and when Jonny hepworth finished off a blistering Pete Swatkins break it put them back in it at 18-10.

But the Clifton Lane men fell away in the latter stages ad Bedford added another three tries.

Said second row Sam Dickinson afterwards: "It was hard game for us but we don't see any reason why we can't hit back against Worcester."
