Pub damaged by around 20 vandals

POLICE were called to a Rotherham pub on Saturday morning after reports of windows being smashed.

Officers arrived at around 9.55am after criminal damage was reported at the Effingham Arms pub on Wortley Road.

It is believed a group of around 20 people, thought to be males, caused damage to the property, smashing windows.

Nobody is thought to have been injured during the incident.
