Help end youth homelessness by ‘Gaming for Good’

GAMING enthusiasts are being asked to “play it forward” this month and raise money to help end youth homelessness.

National gaming festival Gaming for Good, which runs from February 11 to 25, is organised by national youth charity movement End Youth Homelessness.

The network includes South Yorkshire charity Roundabout, which is based in Sheffield and also has a four-bedroom house in Rotherham providing emergency accommodation for up to 28 days.

All games lovers need to do is pick the game of their choice and invite friends, family, colleagues and followers to join in raising money.

Roundabout fundraising manager Emily Bush said: “We’re challenging you to Game On and raise awareness and vital funds to help vulnerable young people find a safe, secure place to call home.

“So pick up your games console or your dice, start playing your favourite game and make a real difference.”
