All have been released on bail while investigations continue.

These three make a total of 16 arrests under Operation Clover — a South Yorkshire Police investigation into historic sexual abuse — so far.

DCI Martin Tate said: “This is a complex and protracted investigation with a vast amount of work still to do.

“I want to encourage victims of all sexual crime to come forward — it takes huge courage and I want to reassure anyone who does come forward that their complaints will be taken seriously.”
