Six puppies snatched during house raid

THIEVES snatched six British Bulldog puppies but left their mother during a daytime burglary at an Edlington home.

Police believe that intruders smashed a rear window at the Roberts Road property to get access to the pups sometime between 11.30am and 3.30pm on February 10 while the owners were out.

They are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

A police spokesman said: “We would like to speak with anyone with information, including anyone who has been approached by someone trying to sell a British Bulldog puppy.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 633 of February 10.
