Police appeal after Wombwell tyre slashings

POLICE are appealing for help to track down a tyre slasher after a fleet of vehicles belonging to a taxi firm were targeted.

A number of vehicles, belonging to Wombwell firm J and M Taxis, were damaged overnight between September 5 and September 6.

They were in a car park at Parklands Nursing Home in Park Street, Wombwell and the damaged caused has been valued at around £500.

A witness saw a man in a dark-coloured hooded top and dark shorts running from the vehicles at around 6.10am on September 6.

Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident number 355 of September 6.
