Hunt for Conisbrough “assault victim”

POLICE are trying to track down a man who may have been assaulted on Friday night.

Officers believe that a man may have been injured after being set upon by a group of men in Conisbrough.

The incident happened at around 9.45pm in the Cromwells Pub in Conisbrough.

Police want the man who may have been assaulted to get in touch, as well as any witnesses or people who have any information about the incident.

A police spokesman said: “No-one has been reported as injured and no arrests have been made.

“Officers would like to speak to him and to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or were in the pub around that time.”
