Fire crews called out to ex-Sterecycle plant
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a former waste disposal plant twice in one night after a skip caught fire.
Three fire engines first attended the Sterecycle plant on Sheffield Road, Templeborough plant at 11.05pm on Monday.
Crews from Darnall and Rotherham stations spent around one hour putting out the blaze, but were recalled at 3am when the bin was found to be smouldering.

The plant closed after the company went into administration last year.
Fire investigators say the fire was accidental.
