Car engine catches fire
A CAR’S engine burst into flames while it was still being driven.
A fire crew from Dearne was called to tackle the blaze after the car came to a halt on Lidget Lane, Thurnscoe, at 10pm on Friday night.
Fire officers spent an hour tackling the fire in the Vauxhall Vectra.
A spokesman said no--one was injured in the incident.
