Appeal to find assault suspect

POLICE have appealed for help from the public as they attempt to trace a man wanted in connection with an assault.

David Crossley (30), from Denaby — also goes known as David Halliwell — is believed he has connections in Mexborough as well as the Moorends and Thorne areas of Doncaster.

A police spokeswoman said that “a variety of operations and activities” had been carried out in an attempt to locate Crossley, but officers were now keen for members of the public to come forward with information that might assist their search.

Anyone who believes they may know the location of David Crossley, or may have seen him, should contact police by dialling 101, quoting incident number 782 of October 10.
