VIDEO: Chief Inspector explains why Operation Duxford has returned to Rotherham
POLICE are flooding the borough as part of a day of action - dubbed Operation Duxford - to tackle issues that residents and businesses have raised.
You can expect to see a higher than normal police presence across the area during the organised day of targeted enforcement activity and warrants, as well as officers engaging with the community.
The operation began early this morning (Friday), with a public multi-agency briefing outside Riverside House attended by Chief Constable Stephen Watson.
There are a range of activities taking place throughout the day and into the evening.
