Two arrested over Parkgate petrol station kidnapping
TWO MEN have been arrested in connection with a petrol station stabbing and kidnap in Parkgate.
Gareth Slater (32) of Kilnhurst Road, Rawmarsh, has been charged with kidnapping, grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article on Sunday.

Hide AdHe is due to appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court this morning (Monday).
Last Thursday, police received reports that a 39-year-old man had been stabbed in a Fiat Punto at a petrol station on Stadium Way, at around 7.50pm.
Police described the victim’s injuries as “serious” and said he was currently recovering in hospital.
Craig Berridge (38) of Grange Road, Rawmarsh, has also been charged with several offences in connection with the incident.

Hide AdOfficers arrested him on Saturday and he has been charged him with kidnapping, grievous bodily harm, possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, possession of an air weapon, dangerous driving, possession of a bladed article and driving without insurance.
He was remanded in custody and was due to appear before Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
