Trial date set for attempted murder accused
A MAN charged with attempted murder in Rotherham on New Year’s Day failed to attend a bail hearing and a trial date was set in his absence.
Jake Bartholomew-Mann (24), of Romney Close, Flanderwell, is accused of attempting to murder Neil Pearce in Rotherham on the evening of January 1.
The defendant, who has been in custody since last week, failed to attend a bail hearing at Sheffield Crown Court yesterday (Monday).

Hide AdBartholomew-Mann has not yet entered a plea to the allegation but a trial date was set in his absence for April 1.
He remains in custody and will next appear at court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on March 1.
