Rotherham's dedicated volunteers recognised in New Year's Honours
DEDICATED volunteers who selflessly give up their time to help others have been recognised in the New Year’s Honours.
Rotherham Hockey Club president David Woodward has been awarded a British Empire Medal for services to youth hockey in South Yorkshire.
Hilary Ford, was also given a BEM for her work as a volunteer at Herringthorpe Junior school.

Hide AdBrian Yeoman, of Bramley and Wickersley Lions Club was given the same award as was Michael Speight, of Parkinson's UK for services to the community in Rotherham.
Special Constable Bobby Dev, who helped hundreds of youngsters turn their lives around as part of South Yorkshire Police’s Inspiring Youth project, was awarded an MBE.
