Renewed police appeal after possible sighting of missing man

POLICE have renewed an appeal to find a man who has been missing from Thurcroft for nearly two months.

New photos and information have been issued in the hope of locating Lee (44, pictured).

He went missing on October 31 but is believed to have been seen on the bridge over the M18 from Thurcroft at about 10.30am on December 14.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers believe he may then have got the 19a bus, going towards Rotherham town centre. Were you on that bus that day? Did you see Lee?”

Lee, who also has links with the Nottingham area, is described as white, 5ft 11ins, slim, short brown hair and a number of tattoos.

He was last known to be wearing blue jeans, a grey thick hoodie top and white Lacoste trainers.

The police spokesperson added: “Lee has not been in touch with his family since he went missing, which is out of character for such a length of time, and officers are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“Have you seen him? Do you know where he might be? Do you think you may have CCTV or dashcam footage from the area?”
