Pedestrian dies after being hit by a car

Police said he had died in the early hours of Tuesday.

A PEDESTRIAN died four days after sustaining serious head and chest injuries when he hit by a car.

The 26-year-old was involved in a collision with a black Audi A6 on Swinston Hill Road in Dinnington at 9.50pm last Friday.

A spokesperson said the driver of the Audi stayed at the scene to assist officers with their enquiries.
