Pair accused of Ferham attempted murder expected to stand trial

A MAN and a woman accused of attempting to murder a man in Ferham are expected to stand trial later this year.

Nathan Liversidge (30), of no fixed abode, and Gemma Muscroft (32), of Hartington Road, Ferham, entered no pleas when they appeared at Sheffield Crown Court yesterday (Wednesday) following an incident in Hartington Road on Friday.

A trial date was fixed for July 1.

Both have been charged with false imprisonment and attempting to murder Meredith Williams between February 21 and 22.

The pair was remanded into custody and will next appear at the court on June 10 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
