Nightclub assault reportedly leaves woman with broken jaw

One of the men police would like to speak to regarding the incident

TWO women were reportedly assaulted with one sustaining a broken jaw following a nightclub altercation.

Police have released CCTV images as they investigate the incident, which took place overnight between August 20 and August 21 at Renoirs and Rouge in the Crofts.

A spokesperson said an argument was believed to have broken out between four women in the venue’s toilets before two men entered the toilets.

“One of the men apparently pushed one of the women over in the toilet whilst the argument moved to the nightclub dance floor and a second suspect broke a woman’s jaw,” they added.

Police said the suspects have not yet been identified but are releasing CCTV images of people who could help their ongoing investigation, whom they believe could hold vital information about the assault.
