Missing teenager Jaiyan could be in Aughton

OFFICERS are appealing for help in their search for missing teenager Jaiyan Schmidt.

Jaiyan (16, pictured), was last seen on Wednesday, August 19, near to Ponds Forge, Sheffield.

He is described as being of slim build and 6ft 2ins, with short cropped black hair and some facial hair.

Insp Jayne Carter, investigating, said: "Jaiyan was last seen wearing black jeans, a Nike jumper and carrying a Nike drawstring bag.

"We believe he could be in either the Abbeyfield Road, Beighton or Aughton areas.

"If you live in these areas, please keep an eye out for him."

If anyone has any information they should call 101 quoting incident 292 of August 18.
