Man charged with Barbot Hall burglaries

POLICE have arrested a 52-year-old man in connection with several burglaries on an industrial estate.

Officers charged Peter Talbot, of Greasbrough Road in Parkgate, with five counts of burglary and one of attempted burglary.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court this morning (Friday).

The charges relate to offences committed on Monday, September 24 on the Barbot Hall Industrial Estate.

An investigation is ongoing and police would like to hear from anyone with information.
