Elderly driver suffers life-threatening injuries in serious collision with Mercedes

The woman was driving a white Honda Jazz on Broadcarr Road, at the junction with Burying Lane near Hoyland, when she was involved in a collision with a black Mercedes.

Officers said the woman, believed to be in her 70s, had been rushed to hospital after the accident at 10.55am on Saturday.

A police spokesperson said anyone with information should contact 101 or visit the police’s online portal, quoting incident number 352 of February 18.”
