DRINK and drug-driving came top in a public survey about South Yorkshire Police’s road priorities.

Nearly half of the 2,353 responses picked being under the influence behind the wheel as their main concern.

This was followed by using vehicles in an anti-social manner and using a mobile while driving.

Insp Jason Booth thanked people for taking part and said: “We will dedicate resources and time to tackling the top three priorities and problems.”
