Young actors bring Les Misérables to life

WEST END classic Les Misérables has taken over the Civic stage this week — with a young cast bringing to life some of musical theatre’s best-known songs.

Wickersley Youngstars’ production of the story of prisoner Valjean’s struggle and redemption runs until Thursday night, with performances starting at 7.30pm.

With such emotive songs as I Dreamed A Dream, On My Own, Bring Him Home and the amusing Master Of The House, the story shows Valjean’s struggle to keep his promise to God to stay an honest man.
