CYCLEBOOST BIKE DOCTOR: The CycleBoost bike doctor will be on hand at RSPB Old Moor to give bikes a full safety check on October 25 10am-4pm. This is free of charge. Contact 01226 751593.

 

NEW POLICE TEAMS: Now in operation across the Dearne Valley. The teams, which have begun across the whole of the Rotherham borough, are aimed at keeping police on the streets for longer. Dearne Valley will now be covered by the Rotherham North LPT and South Yorkshire police and crime commissioner Dr Alan Billings said that members of the public should start to see an increase in the visibility of officers and community support officers in the community.

DUNGEON CRAFT SESSIONS: At RSPB Old Moor nature reserve. Create all kinds of wildlife-based Halloween art in the activity centre including masks, lanterns, sticky nature bracelets and spider mobiles. CHILDREN-S THEATRE – THE DUCK IN THE TRUCK: This is the tale of a duck who learns that his friends are important. Based on the bestselling book by Jez Alborough, this puppetry show is at RSPB Old Moor nature reserve on October 29 at either 11.30am or 2.30pm.
