BEVAN CRESCENT: On Easter Monday, the Age UK Over 60s group held a social event in the centre. The group was visited by the Community Team from Tesco who distributed Easter eggs to all members. An Easter bonnet parade and contest followed and was won by Mrs Beryl Reynolds. The second place was won by Mrs Dorothy Green. These ladies were then presented with bouquets of flowers by the Tesco representatives. A singalong and quiz was followed by a pie and peas lunch. Keith Stringer holds a surgery every Thursday 10am.
