WHAT'S ON: Kimberworth Park

KIMBERWORTH PARK WALKING GROUP: On September 9, 23 members completed a three-and-a-half mile walk around Winterhills and Bradgate, via Masbrough Cemetery, before returning to St John’s Church.

BARKERS PARK BOWLING CLUB: On September 7 Barkers Park bowlers were at home to Spartans in the Vets Singles. Dot Green, Derek Green, Rob Slow and Steve Bellamy won their games. Barkers Park took the aggregate points. Barkers Park were at home again on September 9 in the Vets Doubles match against Marquis. Mick Parlett and Dot Green won their game. In their final September 11 evening match of the season, Barkers Park were away against Tabard. John Wood and Pat Holroyd won their match.
