KIMBERWORTH PARK WALKING GROUP: September 30 – 33 members completed a four-and-a-half mile walk from Langold Country Park café, around the lake and then through historic woodlands to the village at Letwell, before returning to the park.

 

BARKERS PARK BOWLING CLUB: Members held their interim meeting on September 29. Subscriptions were agreed. The club singles knockout competition has commenced. Mick Parlett, Alan Hadfield, Steve Bellamy, Pat Holroyd, Derek Green, Cherry Roberts and Rob Slow progressed to round two.

KIMBERWORTH PARK CLUB 50+: The weekly indoor bowls took place at The Forty Martyrs church hall on October 5. The club had a day out at Skipton. The weekly meeting took place on October 7 with the usual bingo, member’s loyalty draw and treat followed by the raffle. An additional raffle was then taken to boost the Macmillan coffee day held recently: the total raised was £500. Trips to Coronation Street and Doncaster Races – places still available, contact Sheila Walker 01709552543.
