GREASBROUGH COMMUNITY BOWLING CLUB: August 24 – summer round robin, Tom Browne; Eric Johnson Trophy round 1, Tom Browne; 21up triple, Dennis Routledge, Charles Abson and Ian Garfitt. August 25 – the club played Treeton at home in the last of the year’s midweek singles and won 8-0. August 26 – summer round robin, John Byers; 21up, Sue Garfitt and Martyn Heap; 21up triples, Martyn Heap. August 27 – 21up doubles, Margaret Swift and Martyn Critchlow; summer round robin, Maureen Taylor; 21up doubles, Kenny Herbert and Dot Payne, John Byers and Bob Clarkson; Arthur King Trophy semi-final, Tom Browne. August 28 – the club played Firbeck in the Friday Doubles and lost 8-2. August 29 – 21up triple, Kenny Herbert, John Byers and Charles Abson; 21up double, Dennis Routledge and Charles Abson; summer round robin, David Mee. Today – the club plays Wickersley Village on its home ground.
