ST LEONARD’S CHURCH SERVICES: Sunday services – 1st, 2nd, 4th Sunday 10.45am parish communion, 3rd Sunday 8am holy communion (said-traditional), 3rd Sunday service 10.45am for all ages with thanksgiving for the gift of a child. Coffee and croissants from 10am with activities for children. Weekday services 9am Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning prayer, 9.30am Wednesday holy communion. Church open Monday-Saturday 10-11.30am. September 12 – Heritage Day: St Leonard’s will be looking at Dinnington and the surrounding area on VE Day.  Anyone who was married at St Leonard’s in the period following Victory in Europe Day or someone who was born the following year can go along and take a look at the marriage register and baptismal register for that period. There will be artifacts on show from that period along with work produced by Y4 children at Anston Park Junior School in connection with VE Day. Church open on the Saturday 9.30am-2pm, Sunday 10.45am-1pm, September 14-18 9.30-11am. To mark the end of Heritage Week on September 18 there is An Evening of Fun and Games 6pm, tickets £5 each, children free, contact Caren Turner 07980051794 for tickets.
