BRINSWORTH MANOR INFANT AND NURSERY SCHOOL: Pupils have been working on their SAW (Science, Art and Writing) projects and there was an exhibition. Y2 pupils’ theme was Being Healthy and Y1’s was Amazing Animals. Reception children studied Reuse, Reuse and Recycle and nursery pupils studied Keeping Healthy. A trip is planned for nursery pupils and carers to go to Cannon Hall Farm on March 15.

 

BRINSWORTH MANOR JUNIOR SCHOOL: The theme of the month has been respect for everyone and everything. Y4 pupils had a science afternoon. Mr Hughes, an aviation engineer who travels around the world ensuring planes fly safely, visited school to talk to students about his job. Y3 children have been working with artist Lucy Strutt. Y5 pupils visited Brinsworth Academy to participate in STEM activities and had a visit to the National Space Centre in Leicester. All pupils were invited to dress up as their favourite literary character yesterday as part of World Book Day.
