PRIORITY AREAS: The Rotherham North Local Policing Team has listed Masefield Road and Christchurch Road in Brampton as priority areas following a community meeting to tackle anti-social behaviour.

POLICE WARNING: Police have issued a warning to motorists in the Brampton area to be on their guard regarding their vans. Several vans around the Lions Lodge Estate have been targeted for break-ins recently. Anyone with information is asked to telephone 101.

CORTONWOOD COMEBACK COMMUNITY CENTRE: The recent trial of the movie night on Saturdays was a success. The event will now run weekly. The centre has started a new Knit and Natter Group on Monday 2-3.30 pm. They are starting by making twiddlemuffs which will be donated to local hospitals. Twiddlemuffs are a knitted muff with items attached that a patient with dementia can twiddle in their hands.
