SK58 BIRDERS: During the SK58 Square Bash on March 27, led by chairman Mick Clay, the birds spotted included kingfisher, teal, buzzards, little owl, wheatear and sand martins with water rail and chiffchaff calling. On April 24, there will be a field trip to Budby and Sherwood Forest, also led by Geoff, meet 8am in The Loyal Trooper car park, Sheffield Road, South Anston. On April 27 7.30pm the indoor meeting in The Loyal Trooper will include RSPB Investigations by Alan Firth. The hide at NAPT, entrance off Cramfit Road shared with Bluebell Wood Hospice, is open tomorrow 8-11am (every Saturday morning until June 6).

DINNINGTON AND DISTRICT HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY: The next evening talk on April 13 7.30pm in Anston Parish Hall, Ryton Road, North Anston S25 4DL will be Stories from the Workhouse by National Trust storytellers.
