Tie A Yellow Ribbon for Rotherham Hospice

ROTHERHAM Hospice launched its summer campaign and encouraged supporters to dedicate a yellow-themed ribbon in a loved one’s memory.

Staff, volunteers and patients dressed up, held a yellow raffle, guessed the number of yellow sweets in a jar, and ate yellow cupcakes.

In exchange for a donation, a dedication message can be written on the ribbons, which can be displayed in the hospice gardens or elsewhere.

Hospice fund-raiser Anna Gott said: “We are delighted to be launching this in memory campaign. The ribbons will brighten our grounds and every donation will go towards providing specialist care to the people of Rotherham affected by a terminal illness.”

The yellow theme ties in with the sunflower, a well-known symbol of the hospice movement.
