They will be Singin' out loud at the Rotherham Civic

A SINGING group is set to wow audiences with its new production.

Chapeltown Amateur Operatic Society (CAOS) will be performing Singin’ in the Rain at the Rotherham Civic Theatre from April 12-16.

It is not the first time that CAOS has presented this iconic show. Back in 2002 the society took on this well-loved musical made famous in the film starring Gene Kelly.

The last time CAOS performed the show Malcolm Hide played Don Lockwood and this year Malcolm once again joins the society after many years away in the cameo role of the talking man on the screen.

Although the role he is playing will be filmed, Malcolm has already attended rehearsals and was pleased to meet Jonny White who will be playing Don Lockwood this April.
