Singer Kate is coming home

A WORLD famous singer will be coming back to her home county next week.

Kate Rusby — who was born in Cawthorne near Barnsley — will be performing at Doncaster’s Cast Theatre on Sunday, May 29, beginning at 7.30pm.

Kate will perform a choice of her popular classics from a back catalogue stretching over two decades.

Her band will consist of husband Damien O’Kane (banjo and tenor guitar), Duncan Lyall (double bass), Nick Cooke (diatonic accordion) and Steve Byrnes (bouzouki).
