Santa Dash is coming to Rotherham

DOZENS of sprinting Santas will be dashing round Rotherham’s premier park this weekend as a popular Christmas race makes a welcome return.

Fundraisers are invited to head to Clifton Park on Sunday for the annual Santa Dash in aid of Rotherham Hospice.

Everyone taking part in this one- mile sponsored fun run will receive a commemorative medal to show off to their family and friends, while there will be stalls and mulled wine for spectators and Santa himself will arrive on his sleigh to entertain young fans.

FESTIVE Rotherham residents are urged to get their skates on for a free day of fun in the town centre.

To celebrate the launch of Sunday Christmas trading, there will be a special Festive Fun and Skating event in town centre on Sunday between 10am and 4pm.
