Poppy Run your chance to run in remembrance

TIME is running out for people to sign up onlune to remember the fallen with a run past Rotherham’s war memorial.

The 5km Poppy Run will take place at Clifton Park at 11am on Sunday, October27, and the deadline for pre-registration is next Sunday.

All proceeds from the £15 entry fees will go to the Poppy Appeal and runners are also encouraged to raise sponsorship money.

This is the third year Poppy Runs have been organised, with this year’s being the first in Rotherham and taking place two weeks before Remembrance Sunday.

Entry is £10 for OAPS. Under-16s can run but they should be accompanied by the adult.
