Paddington comes to Mexborough
NEVER mind Darkest Peru, Paddington turned up in Deepest South Yorkshire this week for a special public appearance.
The duffel coat-wearing children’s favourite greeted fans in Mexborough ahead of an open air film screening of his cinematic debut on the first official day of the Easter holidays.
Scores of families packed into Hope Street for a free double bill of Paddington and sci-fi hit Guardians of the Galaxy.
