Mexborough gets the Christmas spirit: GALLERY
CROWDS gathered on Mexborough High Street on Saturday as the Christmas Carnival came to town.
And it wasn’t just the carnival that got families into the festive spirit as Father Christmas had the honour of turning on the lights.
Visitors enjoyed fairground rides, live entertainment and trips to Santa’s grotto as part of the annual event.
The blustery winter weather did not stop people of all ages joining in the party which was organised by Mexborough Community Partnership.
