Madcap comedy in Dowager's Paradise

WHERE can you see a vegetarian T-Rex, rapping widows and fire dancing all in one place?

Only at The Trades. And only this Sunday.

That’s when upcoming actors Jenna Dabbs, Georgina Hanning and Anna Kozak (and fire dancer Lisa Marie Fallon) take to the stage in Dowager’s Paradise, an eccentric and eclectic comedy showcase.

Writer, producer and director Tair Rafiq warns it will also contain scenes of “teaspoon stabbing, sugar bowl bludgeoning and zombie-poking”.

Tair is raising funds to take his recent Rotherham stage success The Secret History Cake on tour nationwide.

Starting at 5pm, the madcap evening will also involve a raffle and a jelly bean guessing game.

Self-confident Tair said: “The prize for the jelly bean game will be the world’s best chocolate cake, baked by me.”

Tickets cost £4 each or £2 for students and are on sale at The Trades, Mesmerize on Wellgate and Something Special on Old Town Hall.

Alternatively, buy online for £4.95 at ticketweb.co.uk/event/217951.
