Help with technology on hand in Eastwood

A FREE session offering advice to people struggling with laptops and tablets is being hosted at a community centre.

Digital champions from Rotherham Federation of Tenants and Residents (RotherFed) will be on hand to offer a helping hand at Springwell Gardens Community Centre, Eastwood View, Eastwood, next Wednesday (5).

The event — being held between 1pm and 3pm — is described as “friendly and informal” and includes free tea coffee and cakes.

Organiser Steve Ruffle, from RotherFed, said: “If you may have been given a computer tablet or are thinking about buying one but know nothing about computers or the internet, this session is for you.

“It’s just an introduction to get you started, show you how they work and how useful they can be.”
