Get on your bike for Christmas

CYCLING Santas and riding reindeer will take part in a festive themed free bike event at Clifton Park.

The Sky Ride Local ride starts at the museum at noon on Sunday with a one-mile route mapped out.

Members of the public are invited to take part in as may laps as they would like. Helen Webster, British Cycling recreation manager for Rotherham, said: “The cold weather is closing in, but that’s no excuse to hide indoors.

“We hope this Christmas themed bike ride will encourage families to get outdoors, have some fun and keep active over the winter period.”
