Fungi on the menu for country park walkers
FRIENDS of Ulley Country Park have organised a guided fungi walk to coincide with their monthly cafe day.
A similar stroll in 2011 unearthed more than 40 species and organisers hope this year’s will attract more amateur mycologists.
The 11am two-hour walk by expert Michael “Ziggy” Senkans takes place on Sunday, November 19, when the Friends will also serve homemade refreshments.
