Fireworks celebrations set to go with a bang

TOMORROW night will go with a bang in Rotherham with the annual Clifton Park bonfire and fireworks display is set to draw bumper crowds.

The festivities begin at 4pm and run until 9pm, with the bonfire to be lit at 6.30pm, children’s fireworks at 6.45pm and the main display beginning at 7.45pm.

Admission is free and the park’s fairground rides will also be open.

Meanwhile, Maltby’s Bonfire Night celebrations will take place on Thursday from 5pm at Manor Fields, with a firework display at 6.30pm and other entertainment including a disco, children’s rides and Guy Fawkes competition but once again, there will be no bonfire for health and safety reasons.
