Free events will include live graffiti art, live DJs and hip hop dance battles.

The Cast event is the only Yorkshire date for the Breakin’ Convention tour.

This year’s Breakin’ Convention features three international acts, including leading French street dance artist Antoinette Gomis performing Images, an atmospheric solo piece drawing on Civil Rights history and the music of Nina Simone.

Spain’s award-winning Iron Skulls crew present Sinestesia, a work merging hip-hop with acrobatics that sees the dancers morphing into post-apocalyptic survivors.

The Ruggeds from the Netherlands present the explosive Adrenaline, a show filled with acrobatics, gravity-defying jumps, music and energy.

Taking the stage alongside the international acts are South Yorkshire hip-hop dance theatre companies and artists SD Kreative, Twisted Poets, Daniel Phung Dance and Rationale.

Hip-hop fans of all abilities can learn the moves on stage by taking part in a workshop with Antoinette Gomis and The Ruggeds.

The free afternoon activities will start from 2pm and tickets for the Breakin’ Convention evening show, starting at 7.30pm, cost £16.50 for adults, £14.50 for concessions and £8.50 for under 26s.
